Aye he's like a wee laddie realising he's out of his depth hanging around with the proper bams Le Tiss's views seem so tame when you start bringing those guys into it.

Only ever got it in one once, long time ago though.
tf for that though, I've used 'RAISE' as my starting word ever since the craze started, and I really haven't missed many days in that time. Now I can mix it up a bit as I found that by using that particular starting word would limit my chances to getting it in three, and as you say quitegood.
It's a guid wee game to finish the night off, countdown to midnight!

I was the same.
Used ‘OLIVE’ for as long as I can remember, it came up as the word and then I changed it to ‘CREAM’ and have stuck with that ever since.
It’s exactly how I finish my night off before bed, wee game of Wordle then sleep.
The alternative is to go say 1-99 on one side then 100-198 on the other. Makes more effort trying to locate addresses. Instead you start with 1 on one side, usually the left, then 2 across the road and back over to 3 etc. much easier to follow
My streets a fucking nightmare. Goes 1 to 15 at the row beside us then 17-29 at the back of us then we’re 31-35 and the rest go down a lane along the road. Always out helping delivery drivers

I still don't see how one system is better though. If you've got number 1 on one side and number 100 on the other side of the road you know that 99 and 200 are down the other end, no?
So it's the same amount of problem solving, but the start point is counter intuitive.
