I'm a big hobby guy Fart Smelly

Currently cycling takes up a lot of my time, read a fair bit, slowly but surely learning guitar, trying and failing to learn a language.

What's your hobby?

Play the guitar.

Into reading books but I dunno if that's a hobby.

Trying to start doing some new stuff though cos other than those two I spend most of my time on the internet/watching football/playing computer games.

Spent a good part of the weekend on my bike rebuild project. Can see that becoming a thing. Just started growing my own vegetables (in b4 he's talking about his kids lmao). Turned in to an outdoorsy family (aye, one of those bunch of cunts), was up trekking in the Pentlands today. Not got much time for anything else during the week with all the box sets I watch Laugh

Photography.  Been at it since I was 12/13.  Go through phases though.  Used to be mainly landscapes but I would prefer to concentrate/capture street scenes these days.  It's not easy though.  Some of the b&w photographs of yesteryear are fascinating; what it was like before my time. Absolutely priceless.

Edit:  I took about, well rather kept, 30,000 pictures in the last 12 months.  Probably only twenty or so that I would be willing to put forward as 'interesting' (read that I would be proud to say that I fluked Smile  )

Got an electric keyboard but I've not progressed past pressing the 'DJ' button over and over again and playing the Eastenders tune.

I've never found a hobby that truly satisfies me. Always just dip in and out of shit.

I don't know that your predilection for rimming qualifies as a hobby.

Other than football, betting badly and playing golf on a Saturday there's not much that I really do outside of work which is shit when the football season finishes really.

Used to do Walking up the hills and cycling quite a bit but struggle to get the motivation these days. Should really try and get back into them.

Muay Thai, the gym, reading. Like cooking too, genuinely as a hobby, but haven't really had much time for it recently.

Gym, reading and football don't really count. Really want to learn another language but don't know how to go about it. Can't stick the apps

Why?

For learning a language, your best bet is to enroll in an immersive class, one where the teacher only speaks the language you want to learn. I`ve been plodding along with Japanese lessons for the last few months and although my teacher speaks English, she only speaks Japanese in the class. My listening isn`t too bad but my speaking skills are still in the basic category. Reading and writing are made a lot more difficult by the fact Japanese has three writing systems, I know two and bits of the third so most text is still indecipherable to me.

Things like Spanish, French and Italian are supposed to be the easiest for a native English speaker to become fluent in.
