So far no player has been punished. 3 managers have gone, Hinch from Houston, Cora who left Houston before the 2018 season to go to the Red Sox and Beltran who left Houston and was recently appointed by the NY Mets - hadn't even managed a game yet have all been fired but no player yet. The narrative on that is that the players association would have supported the players doing what they had been told by the club and that it would have been dragged on for months and well into the new season. This in itself it pretty hypocritical as you could argue that some of their own members have suffered great financial loss due to the cheating of other members. For example a pitcher whose pitches were being stolen and then got hammered all over the park may have been demoted or released and had a significant loss of earnings.

It is thought the commissioner took the stance that clean and definitive punishment of senior figures would settle things down quickly. A controversial stance by MLB and one that looks like it's going to backfire big time as more information continues to come out.

If players have used buzzers to find out what pitch is coming then there is going to be a shitstorm to investigate further and hand out big suspensions. It's a story that isn't going away anytime soon and the Astros are going to get destroyed by opposing fans on the road in 2020.

Without going into massive details the Houston Astros, the 2017 Champions and 2019 runners up have been found guilty of 'stealing signs', in short, cheating. They used cameras and monitors and then a system to let their batters know which pitch an opposing pitcher was about to throw. A massive advantage for elite players.

The fall out so far has seen their manager and general manager suspended for 1 year my the MLB and then subsequently fired by the Astros. They were also fined $5 million and lost draft picks for 2 years. Subsequently their ex coach, who left to become Boston Red Sox manager and won the Championship with them in 2018, has now been fired by the Red Sox. And today Carlos Beltran, who was also involved with the Astros before being appointed New York Mets manager in November has now been fired by the NY Mets without even overseeing a game. The most Mets things ever.

So the Astros, Red Sox and Mets are all now manageress a couple of weeks before Spring training. There are lots of rumours of further to come.

I think you're mistaking me for someone who actually gives a shit.

Only joking.....How do they know what pitch has been called by the catcher?  The 'signs' are pretty confusing

Harry and Megan dropping their HRH and removing themselves from the public teet. Fair play. Hard not to respect them - everyone gave it the 'you can always just walk away' chat and they're actually doing it.

Apparently a massive, thinly veiled campaign against a woman is enough for her and her husband to give up a fair whack of their privelege. There is still a fuck ton left, but it's a brave step.

No money from the Royal Family anyway, sure they’ve got plenty stashed away but fair play to them.
