Didn't exactly take a political genius to see that some of the worst people on the planet weren't being genuine.

As dumb as your average GOP voter undoubtedly is, there is a shocking amount of American liberals infected with West Wing-brain who'll shovel cash into the pockets of anyone who appeals to their sense of moral superiority. Those shameless cunts knew that and profited handsomely from it.

Almost every cent they raised went back into their own pockets by paying their own consultancy firms. I had a look at their FEC reports a while back and there were some ...interesting entries to say the least.

But I'm sure the advert they bought in Times Square, at the heart of that famously-Republican city of New York, had a huge impact on the outcome of the election. It genuinely trolls me to oblivion to see the vital work of people like Stacey Abrams, Rashida Talib, and Ilhan Omar in mobilizing minority voters in key swing states get overlooked in favor of demonstrably worthless "work" of the utter cunts of the Lincoln Project.

Was reading about the amount of new voters Abrams managed to register in Georgia with a campaign on a fraction of the money of Lincoln Project, incredible. Fuck all to do with neo-con’s turning on Trump, it’s there to see in the election results.

That's another important point - the tens of millions wasted on vanity projects and unwinnable senate races that could have been put to much better use elsewhere.

Kentucky was a big one - Amy McGrath was one of the worst candidates imaginable (pro-Trump Democrat ) who raised stupid amounts of money simply because she was running against Mitch McConnell. Lost by a wide margin.

South Carolina - former lobbyist running against Lindsey Graham. Huge amounts raised, still loses comfortably.

There were winnable races in Maine and Iowa but the lack of emphasis on policy to improve people's lives in favour of corporate-donor approved appeals to decency and decorum meant the GOP held both.

My take would be to try to replicate the work done in Georgia in North Carolina. I think that's the next state that can be won. Raleigh and Charlotte are large, diverse, and progressive cities which can cancel out the deeply-conservative rural areas on a statewide level if the work to register voters begins now.
