Drunk Cretin & Hassle Magnet
The guy also gave sizeable sums to charity. Hearts only got a share.
People leave their money to all sorts of people/causes. It's not for us to judge.
Hearts presumably gave the guy great joy over the years and he wanted others to benefit from that.
I am glad the guy never fell of his perch when the wee Russian crook still had us by the baws.

Well kent cretin and slaver
I only see one criticism at all, in amongst good humoured banter about bat-signals and giving Obua back-dated bonuses.
Sterling said "what a waste" and he has qualified that now with explaining why it's a waste. AP has agreed, but I wouldn't judge ever what someone spends their inheritance on as I don't know the man. I think you guys are making assumptions that he is an average joe who has left his life savings. It's more likely he is very wealthy and has left a small but decent proportion for a club that was on it's knees a wee while back. It probably hit home how important Hearts are to himself and the local community and wants to leave a legacy...the fact he is doing it anonymous shows it's nothing to do with ego.
Where I agree with JamboThump is that there is a disprproportionate amount of cynicism on here, but that's just the personalities of folk on here and it's not just regarding Hearts topics.

It wasn't that bitter or self centred tbh.
This can be a cynical place, but I don't think this thread was the place for that observation. As for the downs syndrome memes, utterly dire.
