Try to bin him. Play him in every match when the move falls through. Meanwhile the player we had to put several bids in for because we wanted him so badly sits on the bench every week. You couldn't make that shit up

Ye it's fucking ridiculous. The discipline amongst our team is non existent. It's like they have no common sense at all.
Altho in fairness it probably is going to happen when you have younger players in the team. I'm not saying he's going to come good or that because he doesn't look anywhere near the player people try to make him out as but it's definitely a reflection of a young, inexperienced, naive player.
Least he's showing some signs of progression tho, he's no hand of god'd the ball into the back of our net since aberdeen so obviously learning.

My issue today is much less with the stupid red card; it's that he's playing in the first place. It's not like he's played well, is it? He's also now proven himself untrustworthy and highly capable of throwing a game with a moment of madness. Add to that the fact that we were clearly willing to ship him off for a fairly conservative fee and I doubt his confidence is anything other than shot as well.
All could have been avoided if we just signed a full back in January like we ought to have. Instead we're pissing about letting decent players walk away to rivals. The entire philosophy at the club is questionable at the moment - and it directly leads to these kinds of fuck ups.
I don't think 50 games at the age of 19 makes you an experienced footballer.
I'm not sticking up for his ability, he is definitely over rated and is playing shite. All i'm saying is his decision making processes are a reflection of his age and experience at this level. He shouldn't be a starting pick every week and if we had just signed a full back like we were crying out for we could rotate him in and out of the squad rather than relying on him every single week.
In my opinion I haven't went too far at all to be honest.
Pap is pap. But he doesn't directly contribute to us losing games on a scarily consistent basis. Somebody posted stats on Pap last week - we've only lost once (twice now) in games he has started IIRC?
Pap is very unorthodox and makes mistakes, but he doesn't 'sell the jerseys' every 3 games he plays.
