Whats the best brand for veggie foods these days?
Always thought LMc's was a bit hit and miss. Quorn. I've only ever had a few things in the past. Their lasagne is quite nice.
Got the Tesco Plant Chef Garlic Kievs for tonight. Actually just checked their reviews (eek!).
Anyway, is there a decent brand or store brand that have a good variety that taste alright?
Been slowly cutting out meat for a while and looking to do a bit more.
LM sausages are horrendous.
You can get the Beyond Meat stuff in a lot of supermarkets these days - have had them in Honest Burger a few times and they're great, seem to go well on the BBQ too.
Think they do more than just burgers but not sure what the rest of the stuff's like.

Kashinda
it wasn’t a fix, I swear
They’re hollow in the middle most of the time so they should just peel open
Best to slightly wet the pittas before putting them in so they don't dry out and flake away. Or wrap in foil.

I was in the big Scotmid in Balerno earlier today, it's all been done up fancy n shit.
They've got full range of of chef made food, almost the length of the shop, i was like, yaas, i'll try some of this...
Fucking £5 for a small tray about an inch deep with food.
Walked out in disgust.
I will edit my initial post. The beef had surprisingly good texture. I just wish there was a wee bit more. But still, pleasantly suprised. I will buy it again for sure.

You didn't mention the price.
And if the price doesn't matter, surely you would have just bought 2?
£2.50 is decent.
Sainsbury's have been lowering their prices to compete with Aldi, apparently.
About time.
