No, not your kind of flame gang, "going down in style" grooming, Chrambo. :begbie:
I had a quality set of Wahl clippers that did beards, lasted me ages but they packed in a couple of weeks ago. Ended up buying a set of Babyliss things which are fucking horrendous, barely sharp enough to trim down my stubble, let alone give me a close shave as the Wahls did. Anyone got a decent set they could recommend, as I'm going to have to replace these shiters.
Any other grooming tips/questions, fire them in here for the family to help out with or benefit from.

I've got one of those Philips beard trimmers and they're pretty good for keeping things neat and take the plastic bit off for sideburns, was only £20.
Think for clean shave you've got to go for normal razors, for me the electric ones always make my skin really bad and blotchy. Anyone know a good razor brand that isn't a nightmare to clear out every few cm of your face?

Don't know if it's not greasy looking but VO5 matt clay is your stuff, although someone will probably come and mention fudge or whatever but I've never used any of that kind of thing.
That was my product of choice when my hair was shorter but it's too long and thick for it now.
Cheers for the suggestions, will have a look and see which one fits the bill. I would go with a VO5 rework putty, my hair will be about the same length and I'm a fan.

All the products mentioned so far can be picked up at your local Boots the chemist. Good suggestions if that's your budget.
I'd got for Mr Natty Paste. Can get it online or at John Lewis.
Wahl are the kings of clippers.
Phillips are a decent second choice.

£17 for hair gunk is probably pushing the limits of extravagance tbh...

What's the fams current haircuts looking like? Getting mine snipped tomorrow, was just going for a trim, but now thinking of getting a chop. Been growing it out for about 6 months but can't be hooped with it any more.
Was the same, got my hair cropped (not too short, 8 on top) and haven't looked back. Essential style for winter IMO, nowt worse than hat hair.
