Disciplinary Rule 72: In that following on from the Scottish Professional Football League Premiership match between Hamilton Academical FC and Heart of Midlothian FC upon 29th August 2015, in an interview with the BBC you criticised the performance of the Match Officials in such a way as to indicate bias or incompetence on their part.

I'm not sure he said anything which explicitly indicates bias or incompetence, but an assumption of that could be made. I'd be disappointed if it stuck given that Robbie was fairly measured in his put down and given that Collum made yet another mistake.

Had they just said he was bringing the game into disrepute by openly stating he was preparing for the ref to send someone on then i'd probably agree with them. It's ungentlemanly conduct.

hopefully the club say its down to Willie Collums general incompetence rather than a vendetta against hearts, there is plenty to back it up beyond the fact the red for Paterson was rescinded.

It's just fucking stupid now like. He's basically going to end up with a ban for criticising a decision that the SFA themselves agreed was incorrect. It's a shambles whether he gets banned or not, just makes it look like they're making it up as they go along.

Can't remember exactly what RN said, but wasn't it along the lines of "When we were told who the officials were, we trained with 10 men at times because the statistics showed that we tend to have players sent off by these officials disproportionately."

If so, they can fuck off, unless they can show that the statistics are incorrect.

Exactly. If the club walk into Hampden with a document showing he's an incompetent imbecile and say that is why we prepare for his games then point to the face they agreed he was wrong then they can't take action against Neilson.

Collum shows more red cards than anyone else, and I'm sure that RN has the data to back that up.

Is it not also the case that Collum has had more red cards rescinded on appeal than any other ref of late??

Tbf, if you give more red cards out, there's a good chance that you'll have the most rescinded.

Not that it makes it any better, obviously.

Warnock what an absolute embarrassment our football association is. Hope Robbie just slaps those stats on the desk and walks out.

Is there not some kind of sanction that gets put upon referees when they've had to have so many red cards overturned?

Or do they just get away with it, without consequence?

Yep. They get the Scottish Cup final.

They might get a Championship game one week to 'teach them a lesson', then back to getting all the top games like nothing happened.

Last season he reffed 41 games - 121 bookings - 15 reds Laugh

In the first two games of the new year, he gave 4 pens and 4 reds (2 of which were overturned). Reward - Champs league QF Warnock
