Can pimp a bike up as much as you want but you’ll still look like a deviant with the helmet and Lycra.

Paris Roubaix on Sunday, probably the best cycling race there is, all or nothing one day race, cobble stones, pissing it down with rain, the lot.

Quite Good

Not quite on the same level, but I had a wee nosey at the Edinburgh Uni secure bike store underneath the newest building at Bristo Square. Very good facility. Tony Hmm

I can’t picture this, what building is that?

The newest bit to Bristo square was the McEwan hall renovation and basement bit added - didn’t think there was a bike store in there though.

You're right actually - it's not the newest. It's in the Bayes Centre - the big ugly one that's across the road from the Mosque on Potterrow. If you walk past the union building (that becomes the Pleasance Dome during the Fringe) towards George Sq, the gate to the bike store is on the no-through-road bit on your left once you get past the health centre.

Aye I know the one you mean, Dugald Stewart building I think it’s called next to the robotics building.

If you can get a nosey in to that robotics building (think that actually is bayes) you should have a look, their lab has a big glass front so can see them working away.  Got a few of those Boston dynamics robots on the go it’s pretty impressive stuff Laugh
