Not a very good showing for either of our new signings.

But in Dauda's case especially, it was his first game, I don't think he's played in several months so of course wasn't up to speed, and I highly doubt he'll have experienced 'football' anything quite like that before in his career. Needs to build up match sharpness, then we'll see what he's all about. For me, and this isn't just in hindsight, it was a major error starting him in a game of such importance.

If he hasn't played in months why the fuck is he starting? Juanma was on the bench was he not? Would've been better just skelping the ball at him all game.

Juanma should have been starting.Â
Or, alternatively, we could have actually played football (like we all know Hearts are more than capable of) rather than launching the ball aimlessly upfront every time we had possession.Â

He was absolutely honking
02-07-2016, 03:33 PM
Did he get a touch?

Way off the pace
Not helped by the fact e was partnered by Reilly doing his best Scott Robinson 2008 impression.

Refuse to judge him when the football is like that. Any player in world football would have a torrid time of it when our tactics consist of 'hit it aimlessly up the park'.
A good manager and probably would have scored today.

No service what so ever today. Blackly looked to have him easily matched for pace though.

Honestly find it hard to lay any blame on him or Reilly for today tbh.

The whole week Neilson has been saying 'Dr Funk will hammer the ball at the Hibs box and then you just need to get the ball and score. Easy.'

Can't believe I had money on this cunt for a hat trick

Given our total lack of interest in crossing the ball, which is universally recognised at Hibs' weakest part of defending, it's impossible to judge him. The only half-chance he had, he nearly scored from. Watch as Neilson drills the players into playing archaic, aimless punts that would embarrasss a Juniors side, whilst he tells himself how advanced it is.
