I think there’s a bit of a difference between criticism and abuse like There’s a big drive in men’s football for more accountability for the things being said on social media, not sure why it’s a problem the women’s organisations are doing the same.

It's really not that bad (the abuse, the keeping is that bad).

I feel like I know enough about the women's game to know it is hypersensitive to criticism, especially based on quality.

You can't have your cake and eat it - if the media are going to be covering games, your keeper punching the ball into her own net is going to be picked up on.
