No joke. The thing was of "a good pedigree" so cost him a grand to buy anyway, his wife wanted another pug, he was £2k down, then the first ones eyes were basically going to fall out so he had to go in for the op.

I like dogs but they're also annoying cunts so couldn't be arsed having one. 2 cats though, lovely little creatures.

Have three dogs at home. Two Lakeland Terriers and a Jack Russell. Absolute mad house. Been in a seething mess more times than I care to admit because they never shut up. Happy

I started an official dug thread on here once. Fucked if I'm searching for it, but I guarantee that'll be full of top notch canine companion suggestions, Walt.

Or probably just Morph posting hundreds of pug pictures.

Have you seen Italian greyhounds? Lovely wee dogs.

Not a fan of greyhounds, but the italian looks to be a bit cheerier. Greyhounds generally look like shelter dogs to me. Just like they've had a shit time of it up until recently and are uncomfortable at not getting fucked about.

I'm the same. Can't be fucked with them jumping about the house while I'm posting on Talk Hearts Snake

Brutal like.

Staffies are decent but they are pretty bitey and need to be really well trained. Can only imagien how badly treated they are by some of the neds. My brother had a staffie cross which was a lovely dog but you knew if it hadn't been well trained and had been treated like shit then there was potential to be wild.

Only about 4 or 5 in that lot that aren't some sort of staffie. Such a shame.

I'm looking for something cat-sized and short haired. Maybe a wee Jack Russell unless anyone has any suggestions?

Border terriers are good dugs, they take mad turns now and again and run around daft but they're harmless and are happy enough sleeping as well. Have a tendency to be a bit yappy though.

The Missus has a border terrier and they are different class, I actually searched out the other dog thread on saturday to post some pics but the jpeg file was too large to upload,

Also a shout out for Bichon Frise's - I posted a pic of mine in the other thread too, great dogs with a good nature
