I'd love a dog - my folks have 3 - but I'm out the house 8-6 so there is no chance Sob

We’re lucky tbh, as my shifts mean there’s not many occasions where the wife and I are both at work at the same time. He loves when I’m nightshift because I’ll come home at 7am, take him a big walk then he knows he gets to go back to bed all day until I wake up Warnock

We’ve got family close by too so there’s always someone to come up and take him for a walk etc. Sometimes the father in law even takes him down to his house for a bit.

Aye you need a shift worker, family who can help or be willing to pay for a dog walker.

We’re both working from home full time now, and likely will be working from home more often than not when things go back to normal as well which helps.

Got my mum and dad along the road who can take him whenever we want to go out or that which is a bonus as well.

That’s why we went for a cat. Hard enough getting help with the kids without adding a dog to the mix  Monty Chuckle

No idea, Romanian rescue dog so likely a mix of about 5 or 6 different breeds. Pretty sure there’s Jack Russell in there somewhere but other than that not got a clue.

How did your dug settle in when it arrived CK?

Boy at my work is having a nightmare with his Romanian rescue. Full on refusing to come out the crate, it’s even pishing and shitting in the crate which is quite bizarre behaviour as they usually won’t do that were they sleep.

Think he was managing to get her to go out for a shite in the end but she was just straight back in to the crate petrified after Sob

He was fine tbh, he was out his crate within seconds when he arrived and settled pretty quickly.

Had wee lapses where he wouldn’t go to sleep randomly after about 2 months of sleeping no bother but now he’s fine. Still barks like fuck at anyone coming in the stair but other than that really not had any major issues, touch wood.

You do hear some horror stories where you have to properly be patient with them for a long time until they settle but he’s been no bother at all in comparison.

Pack of dogs turning on a lonely one and eating it, best tomato salad you’ve ever had and Ceausescu’s palace being the second heaviest building in the world?

Oh, and don’t forget the darkness and lack of street lighting. Deal with it
