Perez brings in money to fund development. They’re about to get rid of arguably the best young talent there is. Who else are they going to develop to be better than Russell.

Nevermind; you mean the car  FuckMe

Even still, they’ll struggle with Latifi, 6 tenths slower than Russell on average.

Couldn't understand how you didn't get it but yeah it's about funding car development for 2022 as their is a development freeze for 2021 so it will be another very uncompetitive season for Williams next year, even if Russell was kept over Latifi.

Not that i agree with the decision at all. It's bad for the sport (but then again, losing Williams from the grid would've been even worse).

Did he say mongol or mongo!, as there is a difference, I'd say. When it was commonly used in my times as a kid, I don't ever recall it being used against or indeed associated with anyone of the mongoloid peoples. It was obviously a Special type put down. As in you're an eejit, a bit dim/slow. The most famous Mongo of course was in Blazing Saddles, and he was more a loveable dunce.

Saying that I think it took up the mantle as the go-to slagging for something/someone dumb, as spaz became more frowned upon. Then of course there was also Joey Deacon, and the use of his first name, as Blue Peter introduced his story. That term went immediately as viral as it possibly could in early 80s school playgrounds.

Not really sure where the term mongo originated tbqh, and I can't be arsed reseraching it. He should issue an apology irrespective.

Yeah, what did he mean when he said 'What a retard! Yeah I've done it. What a mongo!'

Maybe he was just referring to Lance Stroll, who is Canadian, as Mongolian Woy Not Sure

You could read the letter, it explains where the term mongo comes from Warnock

Are they. Laugh I clicked on it and it got a bit bigger, read the first couple of sentences then gave up for a bit to start my response. Tried to reopen it again and it only went marginally bigger so I couldn't read on, think I need stronger reading glasses. Lampoon

^^ I shouldn't laugh but I really did.  Love that sort of shit, though obviously that won't appeal to others with the same condition.  Speaking of Mongoloids, it's a bit like those Inuit that are proud to use the word Eskimo, though as you'd expect they're a vocal minority (probably) who insist it is confined to history - I;m referring to Kash's mate's take.

Pondy desperate to appear non-pc when no one cares in the slightest apart from the Mongol society (which is completely understandable from their point of view).
