Thought Di Resta was going to have an excellent career at one point. Suffered from not having financial backing.

But if a shame but if he does we'll today someone might be inclined to offer him an in next season. Ability has never been in doubt.

He is their reserve driver Dexter but he's never driven this car.

He drove the 2013 car in the rain in a test at the beginning of the season.

Impressive stuff there by di Resta.

To not be last and being within 7 tenths of his teammate is a decent effort.

Maybe not so jammy now with not changing his tyres.

More or less all of Guy Martin's programmes are good viewing. He's a good guy.

Lot of pressure on him though doing that for Williams. I couldn't be fucked with the pressure tbh.

What a weird end to that race. Vettels car gets wrecked after the finish.

New season starts in Australia this weekend.

Will there be a 5 time wc? Or will someone new win?

I'd like to see Verstappen win it but I don't think he'll have the car yet.

Hope there's plenty excitement.

I think we'll see a frustrated Verstappen. Every year that he is in a car not fit for titles is a title lost, imo. He's rightly impatient for success.

I don't think Hamilton's head will be in the right place for a full season. So much intensity the last couple of years, he may take his foot off the gas at some point.

Sadly I see Mercedes starting the season with a big performance gap over the rest of the field but I hope I'm wrong or I hope they have reliability issues to offset it. Fancy  Bottas to continue improving and put in a title challenge to Hamilton with Vettel. I just can't see the Red Bull's holding a title challenge even though they have the fastest combined pairing.

Toro Rosso with the Honda engine will be intriguing and McLaren look like they could be onto another disaster in reliability - even though their chassis has always been (allegedly) fast.

Just saw the practice session times. Looks like it will be Mercedes v Ferrari with Verstappen dragging the Red Bull into the mix. Hamilton, Vettel, Bottas and Verstappen could all challenge this year.

Could be a good year!
