Thomaso has said it is due to not having the correct coating to protect it with it being a rushed job. He says the contractor will fix it at their expense.
It isn't great but it's not a big deal. There will be no stand on the planet chucked up in 6 months that won't have issues.

Having sat in the new stand a couple of times I've been quite happy with my experience. Is this cammo losing money on the stand or something? I don't understand why he gives such a fuck about the whole thing, it looks good and it's tidy to sit in with the padded seats. What more do you want?

Sat in it every game since the opening and couldn't be happier with it. No cunt at the game worries about rust on the back of the stand or how it was all paid for. It is a better stand than 9 other teams in this league have. No doubt about it.

If it's fixable then it's no big deal.
Not great, but not the end of the world The viewing experience in the new stand is superb. Jury is out about the match day facilities /experience though.

Dave McLaren really is a lickspittle. Budge could kill his family in the centre circle at half time and that crawling fucker would still find a way to say it wasn't her.

Metal gets rusty in the rain shock

Bit of a shanner but if the contractors will resolve it then no problem long term.
I'm really happy with the viewing experience in the stand.

It isn't the steel that is holding up the stand that is rusting.
It is the handrail/glass barrier metal and looks like it can be unscrewed and replaced easily.

If steel has not been properly coated or treated i'd have thought more likely because it has not been briefed more than a supplier error. I'd need the club to confirm what they specified. Our same club who forgot to order seats and didn't need a specialist PM. If so, the cost and effort is on us. And if it's all the internal metalwork, that's an issue. And nothing to do with rain water or leaks. This is oxygenation and exposure by metalwork not treated for such. Any kickbacker shrugging and saying, shock, steel rusts, is simply a clapper. I'm a bore on this subject because there's unfortunately so much to be boring about. And because I wanted it so much better. On another note from our £15m-£16m investment. Average league attendance 2016 season. 16,423. 2017 season. 16,327. Since we've returned to Tynie and the new stand? 16,705. Jesus pose anyone? Fire away......

Did that boy not moan that the stand wasn't big enough? Now moaning that we aren't filling it

WE AS HEARTS FANS DEMAND TO KNOW THE SPECIFIC METAL TREATMENT USED.
