Hunners of fashion brands out there that'll meet your requirements.

Not sure how much they cost but would expect you get them for a hundred or so.

A watch is definitely a decent present. At the end of the day it's not really any different to buying her jewellery.

Spend what you can afford to spend. Decide whether she'll want a fashion brand or a more traditional one by a company known for watchmaking and get one you think suits Sally

If you think she'll want a proper watch rather than a fashion accessory (most bursds like the latter) then let me know your budget and I can give you a few ideas.

What's the difference? I have no idea about watches Tony You What

I was going to splash out and make it a main gift but I have saw a few that look decent (to me) and reasonably priced which would allow me to get another thing that I want.

The watch in your link and Walt's piccy are fashion watches. Designed purely for looking nice - almost exclusively powered by battery. Nothing wrong with that, of course. It is what most ladies wear.

The watch you have linked looks like it has the ability to remove the strap which I would say you should go for. There are literally thousands of aftermarket strap choices for watches so it gives her more flexibility if she wants a change.

Walt's watch strap looks like it is integrated to the case - meaning you'd likely have to go to the actual watch manufacturer to get a different strap. Again, nothing wrong with that, but it limits your options.

If you are buying as a gift that she hasn't seen then I would go for the one you have linked as she'll have more options with it.

A 'proper' watch is powered by a mini engine - meaning there are cogs and springs in constant motion powering the watch.

Literally just the mechanism which keeps track of time. Since it's all enclosed you'd literally have no idea what's going on in there so makes not one iota of difference to 99% of watch wearers.

Agreed with the above, though the strap isn't integrated. They come in a cool wee set and presentation box, which you put together. TBH it is a glasgow hipster thing, wee start up company putting together minimalist watches and have done really well for themselves, same with the other glasgow start up, Paulin.
