Got some second hand irons from American golf last year. Decent way to get a good set of clubs I reckon.

Anyone with decent laptop knowledge run their eyes over this for me?

What are you wanting it for? 4GB RAM is a bit stingy if you're wanting to do more than basic Office & online stuff. The Honor laptop I posted above seems like a much better bet for not much more money.

I bought an Acer for a similar price a few years ago and it's an absolute shitbox.

Sounds like it's going to reach Mach 1 if you open 4 different programs.

Sound

Considering going for a refurbed laptop. Seems like you can get a much better spec for decent money but with the same warranty as new from quite a few places.

Boilers been condemned so have been given a quote for a new one. No idea what’s expensive and what’s cheap so any help would be much appreciated. Here’s the quote.

The work that they wouldn’t charge me for if I use them is 3 call outs and 5 hours of labour. Not sure if it’s worth trying to find a cheaper deal and then pay their bill or just go for it as it’ll work out the same. No idea where to start.

Looks ok to me tbh. Given the boiler itself is just over a grand it's only a grand of labour which sounds ok.

Scottish gas would charge twice as much.

That sounds pretty decent, sure my boiler cost me about £2500 last year. Saved me a fair whack in heating already in about 6 months so worth every penny.

Is it an integrated machine or stand alone?

Can’t go wrong with John Lewis for white goods but it’s worth checking AO.com as well

Sound  It’s a stand alone, only problem is it’s in a cupboard so will need to make sure it fits

Most are the same size so should fit.

Mrs C says the best makes to buy are Bosch, Meile and Hotpoint. Sound

Aye, do John Lewis. They have the best warranties.

Maybe pay a tenner more or whatever, but it's worth it. Good delivery service too.

We had an Indesit Moon and it was the worst washing machine I’ve ever experienced Warnock

It was a bottom of the barrel budget one though so I guess you get what you pay for.
