Was playing that oculus rift VR thing today.

VR is fucking amazing these days, was walking about the streets on google earth VR If I had that when I was 12-13 I would never have left the house.

Am in a constant state of moral quandry because - having never even tried any kind of VR - I really want an Oculus Quest 2 (meant to be really excellent value for money for what you get), but on the other hand I don't want to essentially strap a Facebook camera to my head.

The only thing with it is I don’t see how you play it and don’t feel like a fucking tube. I only played it for about 30 mins max the day and felt self conscious as fuck that I was having this pure immersive experience but standing in someone’s living room

I don’t really know what the fb link up is, we were just playing the games on the oculus platform. The tech is seriously minted tho, it’s way better than the PS VR I’d say but I’ve only played both very briefly.

Finally got round to playing the RE3 remake. Really enjoyable but you can complete it in 2 and a half hours. Probably play it another few times tbf but glad I didn't pay full price for it.
