The C&C remaster was alright at first but there were parts like path-finding & AI that had simply not moved with the times and I've not touched it in ages.

I still play Shogun 2 and that's been out for a decade, it's the best Total War by far.

Yeah I saw there was a remastered MW2 campaign released

They make new games that shite that folk pine for the old days when they actually enjoyed games, leading them to gobble up a remaster only to then realise hmm this is a bit pish now. it's genius.

I’m a fan of the remasters, I haven’t bought every single game that I played like but if you fancy a bit of nostalgia I prefer going and playing something that has had the graphics and shit tuned up.

Crash team racing remaster is almost as good as I remember playing it back in the day Laugh I got the COD4 remaster as well and I get what you mean about the mechanics feeling like they’re lacking compared to modern day offerings but it still holds up well and plays like it used to.

I tried playing the grim fandango remaster but just couldn’t get in to it at all, I don’t think all games will lend themselves well to it but I do like having the options if you want to go back.

Yeah, it's definitely getting a bit silly now. Getting remakes of games that are barely a decade old. The engine they've made for the new RE games is so good that they've been worth it though.

I wonder how hard it is to just knock up a B movie storyline and get some decent voice actors to make a new game though Warnock

Went up to my maw's at the start of lockdown and got the PS2 out to play the original RE, Silent Hill, MGS etc Warnock Pinilla

Anyone played Detroit: Become Human before?

I got it on sale ages ago and fired it up over the weekend. The graphics are very impressive but man alive is it dull as fuck to play.

Anyone played it and if so does it get any better?

Yeah I think I'm going to bin it. Starts off well with the android negotiator opening and you think "this could be decent" and then you end up cleaning houses and collecting the shopping for folk.

Warnock

Some of the ratings it got as well. I'm all for story driven games over multiplayer stuff but this is taking the piss.

I seem to remember everybody just slagging me off. Especially the cop leader, who now I think about it, was captain Hadley in Shawshank Redemption. Monty Chuckle

Just finished Paradise Killer. Absolutely bizarre game, and quite tricky to get into, but an intriguing enough plot.

It's an investigation game in which you can go anywhere you want from the off and investigate as much or as little as you want. Realised that after about 20 hours, and having wrapped up the vast majority of the loose ends, I'd never bothered going to have a look at the crime scene, which is directly in front of your starting location.  Warnock

If you like Phoenix Wright games (and who doesn't???) I'd recommend it.
