This is where I am, but also kind of agree with Prancer - don't think he'll make it down south if he does get a big move as the parts of his game which make him look special here won't stick out there. As 2na says, though, how he does after leaving us isn't our concern.

Today was the day he came into his own as a player. You sometimes see it with players and he was a fucking warrior today. His ability on the ball is never in doubt but I was so please with his physical game.

He did start off shakey but I put that down to his time out (Airdrie doesn't count) but towards the end he was reminding me of Berra at his peak but better. Delighted for him.

Thought he looked a class above last season as well to be honest. He’s too good for this league when fit.

Those headers last 20 minutes. best 2nd half i've seen from a CB in a long time.

He was quality, especially at the end when we were seeing the game out, a few brave headers in there. Great to see him back.

I believe he's out of contract this summer, could be a good move for both parties.

Very poor tonight. The system does him no favours but he has to do better than he has tonight.

Wonder if he'll go bitching to Levein again Sob

Best rid of deadwood like that. Maybe he can get a game for Ashton United and live his Manchester dream.
