Berra should get a % of Souttars transfer fee.

The turnaround in Souttars general play since he's been alongside Berra is unreal.

Souttar has looked a far better player next to Berra. Still feel he has brain fart in him.

Souttar is for me not good enough to establish him down south. He's exceptional for us and we'll get a good fee for him but he'll be back up within 2 years.

Hard to put exactly why I think that but as good as he is on the ball, with his aggression etc. I'm not sure he's got that consistency in him against consistently better players who are more used to that style.

Who cares. With Berra beside him he's putting in the performances and getting the stats that mean we'll be able to look at decent bids from England.

Whether he has a career down there isn't our concern.

Was going to say this, can't remember the last time he made a stupid mistake.

This all sounds good for Hearts tbh. Get a good fee then sign him back up for free 2 years later Sound

He’s still only 21. Berra was only just starting to appear regularly for Hearts at the age Souttar is now.

In his time playing first team football he was shunted to right back and central midfield at Dundee Utd and has had pretty much a different partner in defence each season he’s been at Hearts.

He’s played half a season regularly alongside a decent player and the improvement has been enormous. Nothing to suggest if he keeps improving he doesn’t have what it takes to move south for decent money and have a good career down there.

I've never really rated him but you have to admit he's come on playing with Berra.

Thought he was excellent today. A bit more quality in his forward passing and we’d be snowed under for offers down south based on current form.
