Lisbon. Great place but the "pure" Port is a fucking rip off. A taste sensation but dear as fuck.

My mate from Lisbon says that locals would never drink port there because it's from the North, so true local bars don't even stock it. Maybe that's why they're ripping you off

Catacombs? Don't know if you can get into them for tours and then but if you can then I reckon it'd be pretty interesting.

It does get a bit repetitive as once you've seen one wall of skulls you've seen it all basically. Its a cool wee walk and isn't too expensive. The place is absolutely fucking mobbed; Paris that is ... way worse than it was 35yrs ago when I first went. Notre Dame roof access to see gargoyles and view will set you back a long wait; we didn't bother. Kids faces when they first bit into a nutella & banana crepe out of a hole in the wall near Montmartre was almost as good as they tasted.

I'd rather he was shot tbh, wouldn't want his blood and guts defiling the surrounding architecture.

Can't see Acey's guts making too much of a mess.

What's the day to day costs like for bevy and food?
Where did you stay?
03-13-2017, 07:37 PM
Read you could live there on £2k per year

It's cheap to get there (distance travelled considered) and you seem to get plenty for your pound in terms of hotel rooms.
Just need to convince the Mrs on the food front and grow cheap it would be to eat out most nights

I was only there for a bit seeing my burd but I stayed in Bangkok, Pattaya (the sleazy place if you want a ride, I had to stay there because I had food poisoning ) and stayed on an island called Koh Chang. You'd want to do research and do some island hopping I think. Also if you are going for a decent amount of time try and get to Cambodia (short flight away). Unreal. It's very cheap for food and bevvy.

Was there travelling around for a month last year. Spent around £1300. Bevy probably about half that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
