Stupid to call it before anyone has any idea of what the deal looks like.

Almost like she doesn't want to win it.

Seems to be like it's going to be in a situation where we have an idea of what a Brexit deal will be, and what Independence (Sexit Monty Oh You ) will look like.

She's calling it now but the vote won't be until 2018-19 when we should know where we stand. Quite smart of her to frame the negotiations from now on with the looming backdrop of Scottish independence, im sure there will be plenty of fodder for the nationalists to shout about how terrible a deal we're getting!

Folk had a go at Blair for being obsessed with his legacy, imagine what folk are going to think of Cameron in 200yrs time.

The better the EU do in negotiations the more likely we will be independent then. Heaps the pressure on Westminster.

Monty Ooh

I was a Yes voter previously but I don't want in the EU and the SNP will see that we are complete with the Euro.

Mccringe

Conflicted.

jjay Time for round 2.

18 more months of May as PM should be enough to sway voters to Yes even without Brexit.

Not necessarily. I can't see a scenario where an independent Scotland is a fully paid up member of the EU complete with the Euro. There are options.

Rumours a few months ago they'll ditch becoming a member of the EU in order to try and push it over the line.

1 million Scots voted for Brexit. Those are votes that have to be won. You'd assume their default position is no if we are to fully join the EU.

Yup. Going for the 'Norway' option is what they've been looking at to convince certain voters.

We won't end up with the Euro. Doubt it would be seriously floated as an option on the Yes side.

The negotiations are going to be absolutely fascinating. Strong rumour that May's plan is to walk away from negotiations and blame the EU for the UK leaving without a deal in place.

I have no interest in Scotland as an independent nation having anything to do with being a member or associate member of the EU.

Will be interesting to see how the figures stack up this time as well.

There's no political reason for Scotland to want to be in the EU other than needing somebody to blame for everything.
