Can anyone tell me in quite simple terms why the UK should pay money for future EU projects? I understand a commitment to pensions and other costs associated with our membership but why future projects?

The EU seem quite worried to be losing our cash input.

We will have said we are going to invest a certain amount, which the budget for these future projects would be decided on and will already be somewhat underway.

Well basically be under some form of contract that says we'll give so much, can't just pan that when you leave you need to fulfil commitments already made.

A civil servant who's name is Penpusha, are we supposed to believe that this is not made up?

Hate when vanilla posters change their name. They literally just disappear. Couldn't tell you who Dok is right now, or who Steve McQueen ever was.
