How much money is 19 goals+ worth in league position though Jezza

They can’t let him go, surely TF. We let the likes of Sammon piss about picking up a wage without any future at the club. I know he’s expensive, but goddammit he’s worth it Sob

You need to spend money to make money May Bee

Lafferty is an invaluable asset that we’ve missed for so long - a striker with an eye for goal. Don’t take it away from us so soon Sob

The money better get reinvested in the squad or we are in for a horrendous season. 12 league goals to replace.

If we let him go now it’s genuinely the biggest waste of money ever.

Sign him on pretty high wages that we can’t afford to sustain then finish 6th. If he goes it’s because we’re fucking skint and need him off the wage bill, he’s got a year left on his contact and he’s in his 30s we’re not getting good money for him.

I’m hoping with his mrs being pregnant a move abroad may not be to appealing at the moment.

He also seems settled at Hearts and with his well documented issues only a few months ago, a move abroad where his wife potentially wouldn’t join him and lots of spare time on his hands may not be wisest move for him at this stage.

He may very well be away, but I don't think it'll be overseas.

At least, that's what I say in my prayers to Lord God Almighty, Vladimir Romanov.

It would be very budge era hearts if we sold one of our few decent players for what’s essentially peanuts.

Least we’d get his 80k a week off the wage bill

Well if he goes at least Field Marshal Levein has had the foresight to get hold of a couple of able deputies to roll the goals in in his place. And early enough in the transfer window to be able to scout another at the WC. Shitwine

That’s where I’m at too, all of his wife’s family stay close by where they live and from what I can gather they’re a very close knit family, so that was one of the driving forces for him coming up here in the first place.

He loves it at Hearts, we love him, so Budge needs to get the chequebook out and get him signed on for another few years. APRant

But in reality, we’ll probably punt him for peanuts and then wonder why we’re fighting relegation with a striker with chocolate knees who can’t play on a quarter of the pitches in the league. Fat Cunt
