I believe Acey and I once crossed paths during an ill-fated kickback-organised kickbabout at Stew Mel c. 2005/6, 20+ folk said they were coming and about 6 showed up.
I know both IJ and Malcolm Tucker, the former was the one who told me about this place, but aside from that, I don't think I've met anyone else on here.

I am misanthropic and utterly boring so not much chance of meeting anyone on here in the future but without doubt I will have met a few back in the day. To put the above into context about 15 years ago I had around 100 numbers in my phone. I now have 15 (one is my boss and 2 are family members). Until a year and a half ago I was on Facebook with 700 odd friends. I now have de-activated my account as I have no interest. I have just come back (yesterday) from a trip (on my own) to Rome. I never socialise with work, always use self scan at the Supermarket and never get on buses incase I bump into someone I have to speak to (and of course be amongst people). I live alone and hate going out unless it is the pub (usually on my own). So in conclusion I doubt I wll meet anyone on here in the future. But I wish you all well.

You really can trace almost all evil in the world back to the 'invention' of it imo. You will be hard pushed to find anyone on the planet that hates Catholicism more than me. That been said I would be lying and it would not be right to admit that I was blown away by the beauty of the Vatican and all the religious buildings, Statues and relics in Rome. I had been to Italy twice and utterly love it but I had never been to Rome. I must say though that 5 hour queue aside, I would never have ventured inside the Vatican as would never give a penny of my money to that filth. Gutted though as would love to have seen the Sistine chapel. Before anyone starts with me hating Catholicism by the way I am as much a Catholic as I am a Protestant and I am as much a Sikh as I am a Muslim if you get what I mean.

Much the same as you, I've seen the Vatican from the outside. It was both unbelievably beautiful and unbelievably sad. The riches they have could do so much for people that have nothing in this world, instead of being used to decorate their walls.

By sharing it's unimagineable wealth and getting the wee cunt with the stupid pointy hat to say condoms are not evil it would wipe out world poverty in one swoop.
