I've noticed the TV presenters / guests started last week - a full 2 weeks before. It's getting a bit Christmas like.

I get a wee bit annoyed by the blanket TV poppy wearers. They must go into work - get one pinned on - and that's it.

I'd rather they chose to wear one if they decided to or didn't for whatever reason. Devalues it in my opinion.

For all this NEVAR 4GET that happens every year, there's a staggering amount of ignorance surrounding WW1.

Visually she's morphing into Hitler.

Not very poppy-esque of her.

Imagine how awkward it'd be for her now if she forgot. She's playing with fire here.

The poppy is a symbol of remembrance for all those who have lost their life in conflict, not just the two world wars.

I for one wear the poppy mostly to remember the Algerian Civil War of the 1990s. It relates to other conflicts too though in fairness.
