Never really understood the massive importance of being seen to wear a poppy. Have seen folk on the telly being crucified for it, when they simply have just forgotten or whatever.

On the same hand I don’t really agree with folk like McClean making a big deal about not wearing them.

It’s just a personal choice on whether you do or don’t, id rather that people who don’t choose to wear one to just be left to themselves without being questioned. I’ll probably not wear one this year, that doesn’t mean I tbink any different to last when I did. Anyone who takes it further than wearing a poppy on their top is a bit of an attention seeker anyway. Seen some boy the other day with a massive poppy on the front of his car. Just absolutely crass.
