My mate at work is best pals with Neil MacFarlane as they went to school in Dunoon together. I have repeatedly asked him to pass on messages about how much I love him, but suspect they are not reaching him Mugbie

Gilles Rousset, Stephane Adam and a load of other players used to come into Sainsbury’s pretty regularly when I worked there, served them all the time. One time, I got a tap on the shoulder when I was returning a trolley in the car park, turned round and it was Gilles Rousset. He’d seen me and decided to wander over to say hello Sob Absolute gentleman. They also came into our school one time to help us with French - best day ever Sob

Also told Calum Elliot “well done” outside Cav on a day we’d beat Celtic. Since I was absolutely wired to the moon, I’d forgotten he was an unused sub and took it as a slight Monty Chuckle

On a similar note to the title, a few of us were doon the Cowgate many moons ago, and had the pleasure of bumping into Stevie Frail and Biscuits Preston.
"Arite Allan, when you back playin, pal?"
"Yeah, due to a crippling injury, I've been forced to retire."
Sad face.

Was on first name terms with Neil McCann for a while - he was a regular quiz-player in the pub where I worked at the time, he used to bring in Snakey with him every so often Monty LewLew

Knocked back Willie Miller from Soul Casino as he owed the owners money a good few years back Warnock

Used to see Kello at the ice hockey at Murrayfield.

Tried to talk with Craig Gordon on a Saturday night on George Street years ago when he was having a domestic with his Mrs, didn’t go down well.

When I was a wee laddy my gran took me down to Granada Studios in Manchester, saw ex Man Utd player Paul Parker and asked for a photo but he refused and walked away, remember being gutted as no one would believe me.

Although I didn’t see it, my mate used to go to a roll van in Newbridge and that’s where Ian Black, Lee Wallace and Nicky Clark would meet and take one motor through to training, said they used to get wired in about the bacon rolls before heading through Warnock

Not having it.

With the high quality sauces on offer at murray park you'd be a fool to settle for generic red or brown from a van
