Was he not at hearts originally?

I think thats the 'other' Liam Henderson, who's now at Falkirk and currently on loan at Edinburgh City.

The Celtic Liam Henderson went to a green and white school and has only ever played for teams that play in green and white (in Scotland) so I very much doubt he'd sign for us tbh.

The timmy Liam Henderson was at Hearts originally. Would be a great signing but no chance.

Hamilton Academical (14)

Kilmarnock (12)
Greg Kiltie

Motherwell (11)
Louis Moult

Ross County (13)
Jason Naismith

Would be after all of these; I know Moult and McLean might be out our reach

Quote:Hearts (6)
Jamie Walker
Prince Buaben
Jon McLaughlin

As for these 3; I'd extend all 3, give Buaben a year, Walker a new long term and McLaughlin would depend on if we got Bain. If we do he can walk, if not, sign him up

I'd be keeping McLaughlin. Bain out of favour at dundee, and JM has really impressed since he came in. He's solid and no point shaking it up again for no real gain. Risky.

Would give Prince an extension as he is a very handy squad player.

Walker if he is interested...

Would take McLaughlin over Bain right now.

McLaughlin is class.

Reckon it would hve been McLoughlin that suggested the 1 year deal, think he fancies himself a bit higher than Hearts.

Hopefully enjoying his football here and nearer to his family IIRC.

Keep the net tender and chase the rest of them out the door. Walker won't sign and will let his contract run down. Monty Oh Well

If McLaughlin bins us then interesting Rogers at Aberdeen is out of contract. Good keeper, too good to be a number 2.

I like Kerr Waddell at Dundee. Wouldn't judge him this week at full back. Good aggressive centre half. Better 3rd choice centre half than Hughes. Or could start and let Souttar beef up our midfield.

Not on the list but Scott Fraser at Utd out of contract May. Natural replacement for Walker on left. Quicker. And we need pace.

And would take Ali Crawford. Would add creativity. And annoying wee prick. We need a few of them in our side. Even just for derbies.

Still don't think we've right back sorted. Newcastle's Jamie Sterry 22 was meant to be a stand out at Coventry on loan last season. Haven't seen him. But Coventry forums say athletic and aggressive. Not playing at NUFC. Could we get for remainder of the season?

As much as trying to salvage our season, we need some new blood to help protect our youngsters' development.

Lastly. Clappyback rumours of Cummings on loan no happening. I know a couple of agents ITK. Was told simply very unlikely. But do think we need another forward. Stockton isn't good enough.

Think it'll need to be the usual 6 out, 6 in. We've a load of dead wood.

Never actually seen him play tbh Jezza

Chips in with goals from midfield though which is exactly what we're missing.

Crawford is the type of guy we should have been looking at a few years ago. Dunno if he’d still be worth a try, not seen much of him the last year or so, but he seems to have stagnated a bit at Hamilton and might lift his game with a move to a bigger club. Right age to move on for him, and at worst would improve the squad.

Nah was just surprised to see his name mentioned because from what I've seen/heard he's generally been quite shite since moving up a league.

Bain and Crawford the two that we should be really pushing for.

Hamilton isn't going to push JM for the number 1 jersey and we all know about our creative issues in midfield.

Fraser at DU is a shout - definitely highly regarded by their fans and I've heard a few pundits raving about him.

Of the Hearts players out of contract, only McLaughlin would be one I'd want to keep.

No doubting Walker's ability but his head was turned ages ago and while he's played better in recent weeks, I'd rather not keep someone who so obviously doesn't want to be at the club.
