Sick of spunking hundreds of pounds to feel like shite for days after.

Bought myself and the bursd a historic scotland annual pass. No bad.

Also visited the abandoned hospital in East Fortune, creepy as fuck.

Any other requests welcome. Willing to travel.

HS pass is pretty much all you'll need. Sound Although saying that can't you combine both; castling & bevvy ... get your burd to drive you around. Could stop in for pub lunches too - quite romantic really. Everypne's a winner, Fraggle.

Not long joined David Lloyd so once i've got a semi decent engine on me i'll be out. Treadmills are fucking tedious.

Treadmills are shite for anything other than Fartleks but they serve a purpose.

Sign up the Edinburgh half in May. Plenty time to get in shape for that

Ahh, thought you just wanted to get off the bevvy. Used to run a lot, and yes it's a good focus but I don't think it ever stopped me getting melted every Thurs/Fri/Sat.

That itinerary looks deadly ... good luck mate; at least if you've run round the Meadows a few times you won't feel quite so bad when those mega-hangovers kick in. Pondlife

Ohh, Caerlaverock and Threave castles are well worth the rip.

Fair enough but having a race to train for will force you to get out as motivation can be hard at times

A few of my mates have recently got into Jiu Jitsu, and it seems to be doing them a lot of good in terms of health, discipline etc.

I absolutely cannot be arsed with it like, but they seem to enjoy it. Think there are quite a few clubs in Edinburgh nowadays.

Looked into that and potentially Krav Maga, but with the cost of my membership at the moment I think i'll concentrte on this until 12 month contract period is over.
