Innis and Gunn is my pint of choice.

Like a bud light, if I’m in a Wetherspoons type place. Very easy to drink.

Tried the fancier lagers and they just don't add much to the experience and are often worse. Also as we're in Scotland you can almost guarantee you're getting a fresh keg. Was in Doctors the other day and asked for a T and the guy had mistakenly poured a Punk IPA and asked if I wanted it for the same price (£4.25 v £5.60) which I of course took - wish I didn't. Pretty shit for an IPA. Been drinking Wolf Rock at the Pear Tree and it's much tastier.

I'm sure i overheard the Pear Tree has been totally done up. It was only ever the beer garden for me there. It was shit inside.

I agree with Tennents in a pub, when you get a good pint of it. Ive had some that have been shite.

I love a bottle of Budvar. I also like Innes & Gunn in bottles.

If possible, getting a nice cold pint of Blue Moon with a seg of orange in it is VanGaals Bitch

Weihenstephan is also lovely on draught.

It has. They've knocked through to next door and it's now quite a decent space inside. I'm still mostly there for the beer garden though.

I drink a lot of Black Isle yellowhammer IPA in the house. Lovely stuff and I like their work on saving bees May Bee Sainsbury’s have been doing them cheap recently.

£33.79 worth of beer left from a £30 box. Had 5 beers from it already. 2 cans from Camden Hells, the Brooklyn American Ale, a bottle of Leffe and another can - can't remember what it was.

Pretty good value Pretty good

Like a few of the others, it's Tennents (always has been tbh) if I'm drinking in a regular pub, and craft stouts/porters (generally dark beers) if I'm being posh.

Last time I was over I enjoyed the Black Isle, Pete. Pondlife

How long have you been out of Edinburgh?

I wouldn’t really be surprised if I was charged 5.60 in a city centre bar.

Does Camden hells come in wee red cans?

If so I quite like that. It’s fairly expensive IIRC (or it was in a central London bar) but for me it’s perfect if you just want a wee refresher in the sun.

If you’re ever up north it’s worth a visit to their brewery. Much smaller than you’d expect but a pretty interesting place to pass an hour.
