Iconic. That picture will be bigger than Fozzy on the fence in time.

By far the best moment of the entire day was Black smashing the face of that wee cunt Griffiths. Not even a booking.

One of the things I remember from that day was half time going for a piss and these lads were shitting themselves because hibs pulled a goal back. Asked them if they could see hibs scoring 2 more to win it in the 90 and they’re like probably not, said it’s more likely we’d get a couple more and could see it finishing 4-1. Fourth goal goes in and I’m bouncing about and they jump on my back screaming and we all about went down the stairs at Hampden. Great feeling.

Still ‘98 for me though, probably helps that in 2012 I was flying to Cyprus for my mates wedding the next day so didn’t have a late one and missed the parade

I was up until about 10 the next day, missed the parade Laugh Regret that a wee bit but nothing would compare to the 98 parade.

Listening to Vinney Jones on talksport this week and he was describing how he did something similar in the Wimbledon final. Knew he’d get away with it because it was so early on in the game.

Let’s no forget the hibs boy who asked his gf to marry him at half time on the big sceeen and the answer ‘she said yes’ appearing on the screen as Grainger put the penalty away.

Some bet Beats Jez

I had a tenner each on Webster and Zal. The only two defensive players who didn’t score Zlat

What a weekend though. Had to drag myself away from spewing my guts up to meet Underwood for the parade on the Sunday to go again. Mind the Diggers getting shut by the police for being too rowdy at about 6 on a Sunday evening Comical Ally

Six years ago  Dismay

Someone should let Craig Thomson know enough time’s passed now and he can give us the odd decision again.

I was so sure we’d win I considered putting 4 figures on us -1 (acey.txt). Then thought better of it because I realised how bad it would be if we somehow lost, or how much it would ruin the day if we won by a single goal Warnock Lampoon Mate had something like 3 quid on 5-1 at ridic odds, 150-1 or something.

Incredible day. After that, the Sunday at the parade and then in Roseburn. Not a fucking clue how I got home, other than I staggered into a taxi and had it carting me everywhere looking for my mate, who it turned out had ended up stranded in Ratho with no idea how he got there Warnock

Halcyon days.

Can't mind why I done Barr. I think it was something to do with the first goalscorers intials in the 1896 final being DB. Opened an account with Paddy power. £10 on and the £10 free bet the same £810 back.
