We've not had a winger with his pace in my lifetime.

How much of that is his improvement and how much Hearts have declined to make that so is up for debate.

But enough about Lewis and TalkHearts' decline - what about Mulraney?

Levein didn't play him earlier in the season as he wasn't ready. If he'd played more earlier his confidence would be shot.

We all made the right call deriding and abusing him early on. Some of us can see the bigger picture Sound

How many times this season has he actually picked out a Hearts player with a cross? Think it was zero on Saturday.

His crosses are well hit into dangerous areas. They caused havoc in the Celtic 6 yard box.

Naismith, Keena and even Edwards next season might have the guile to get on the end of them. No chance with mclean, clare and uche.goal virgins.

So if no players improve under Levein, what’s happened here?

He was decent on Friday. Did really well to win the penalty.

Don’t understand why we tried to play Naismith on the left against Ross County instead of him.

He’s got a bit about him but like every player at hearts these days seems to lack the final ball.

When he does get good balls across the box it doesn’t seem like the attackers are on the same page as he’s usually whipping them in to nobody. Him and Washington will hopefully click as they could be pretty lethal on the break with their pace together.

I don’t think Mulraney has improved massively as a player under levein, he just seems to have a bit of confidence about him now. The only player I’d say has properly developed and gotten noticeably better is Souttar.

He should be an impact sub for us at the very most but we're devoid of quality in wide areas, so he'll be getting a game every week.

I think that’s a bit harsh on him to say he’s not improved massively tbh Morph - I reckon he’s worked his arse off to get better since he arrived and it’s more than just confidence. His first few performances were horrendous.

He’s not a particularly good player, but he’s so useful because he offers something different from our other attacking options ( Heh if you can call them options ). I don’t mind his decision making so much, but his end product needs to improve.

He's playing better than he was when he started but has he been coached to be a better player or has he now got a bit of confidence to actually take players on and use his pace?

He's stopped with the sideways passes and looks to go forward as a priority so if he has been coached to do that then fair enough but it seems like common sense for a player with such explosive pace.
