It will be a big mistake if he doesn't go at the end of the season regardless of our position.

He's not getting sacked. Budge has said she can't run things without Levein. Levein decides when he gives up his position of head coach and hands over to Jon Daly.

Levein will recognise that we are in no position to give someone like Daly the job.

You think we'll recruit externally when he goes back upstairs at the end of the season? Not too confident of that.

If he didn’t put Daly in when we were doing relatively well under Neilson, he won’t do it when we’re in a weaker position.

Neilson, Cathro and Daly are all Levein offspring. We have yet to put in a coach that isn't part of his inner circle. Would be amazed if we went and got a typical manager.

As bad as tonight is, it’s quite clear the injuries have absolutely fucked us.

This.

He'll go or get moved upstairs if Hearts don't finish in the top 4. Really, it's all about the Cup now. Who've we got again in that....?

I've never understood why so many managers at all levels of the game take this approach to away games. Were we playing Barcelona tonight or something? Were we going to some intimidating cauldron from which few emerge alive afterwards?

No. We were away to Livingston. Why the fuck don't we try and impose ourselves? What bloody difference does playing away even make? Injuries or no injuries, it's all in the mind. And any side's approach stems from its manager.

If he has any love for the club he has to go. A purple patch of 9 games since he took over. We are going backwards.

Did someone mention Sergio earlier?

Mind we pied him in the summer Dismay looked a good decision when Levein hit the purple patch of his career but we should be going to Paulo on our hands and knees to take over in June.

Honestly struggling to think of a worse performance in my 25 years of being a hearts fan. To lose 5-0 to the team with comfortable the lowest budget in the league is embarrassing. He fulked our that Naismith agreed to come on loan with us. If he hadn’t I dread to think where we would be in the league.

I actually have a lot of sympathy for him, he’d run through brick walls for hearts just think the time for him to be managing is done.

I actually want him to stay at hearts in some sort of capacity, he’s definitely steadied the ship but don’t think we’ll win anything with him.

He can't stay FFS. He needs to manage us or leave. No in between.

He lucked out that we got Naismith. If he had signed for someone else we would be mid table.

The difference between Levein and a good manager is that good managers can get the best out of what they have. Levein resorts to the same shit every time something goes wrong and he doesn't even attempt to change it. He did the same last season when his excuse was Cathro's players, now that he's got injuries his only way to get through it is to play hoofball and try and squeeze through.

I don’t think Levein can have any more excuses after last night. The injuries make a difference, obviously, but there is no way a few injuries can justify a collapse and a scoreline like last night. At least he faced the media last night, and didn’t send out his tramp assistant a la Lennon. We can only hope this game can be used as some kind of wake-up call to the manager and the players .

Not so easy with him being a director and (probably) shareholder. Probably need to be voted out.

It was always a worry to me to let Levein become so embedded within the club. I doubt we can get rid of him when Anne thinks the sun shines out of his arse. I never felt we were 'lucky to have him' at all when his main DOF role wasn't required for a club like ours, it more felt like a sop to Levein himself when Budge stepped in and needed advice. I also wouldn't have had him managing as his football is turgid and he hasn't won a trophy in his puff.

There's absolutely no way I'd be building a club around this guy. As for anybody saying wait and see us in 10 year's when all his changes are up and running - we shall be exactly like we are now and have been for about 3 year's, boring.
