What's everyone doing for Christmas this year?

Seeing family members you hate? Forcing awkward conversation in front of shite TV? Counting down the hours until you can get back to the safety and solitude of your damp, rat-infested bedsit? Beans on toast for months afterwards to try and claw your way out of Christmas-related debt?

Let's hear it. jjay

Whole family is going up to my brothers. Should be a decent enough day as my brother always has cracking booze in stock and his missus makes a good scran. Back to mines early evening with a mate coming up for a kick of the ball.

I can see the looks from my mum already at the dinner table saying "that's your 3rd drink in an hour" - no enjoying yourself GA - stop fucking about

The only bit of this that doesn't describe my plans for Christmas, is that I don't hate my family - the rest of it is bang on.

Going back to my mum's on the 23rd, whole extended family will be round there on the 24th for the evening (more of a buffet type thing than a sit-down meal; I'm making the two centrepieces), Christmas dinner at my sister's on Christmas Day then Christmas dinner at my mum's on Boxing Day.

Back to St Andrews on the 27th as I'm stacking shelves that day. Muggy

Should be good. I like Christmas, although this year it's largely been a hassle.

Pretty tame Christmases these days, up to the folks on Christmas Eve, old man puts on a good spread and gets some cracking drink in as well.

Boxing Day is when it all really kicks off though jjay

Unboxing and building toys in the kitchen all day as per. Dinner at my Maw's with my sister and her family. Congregating at my Gran's on the 27th. Other than that I plan on doing fuck all for two weeks other than attending the Hibs game.
