In theory I'm content with him hanging around, but Levein gave him the "fuck off" treatment, so bit awkies that he'll be hanging about.

Would rather we got rid and used his wage to pull in Whelan or Morrison, but I don't mind him sticking around until January. Could be a good sub.

It was Lee who asked to leave. Not Levein telling him to fuck off.

Levein has made it clear to him he isn't wanted. Of course he asked to leave.

It's like trying to spin it that Edwards asked to leave - yes of course, you ask to leave when you know you're time is up with the manager.

It was the other way round mate. Lee has talks with Levein towards the end of the season to say he wasn’t happy with regularly being on the bench.

Levein told him he couldn’t guarantee him a regular starting place in the team next season - based on that the club have agreed to allow Lee to find another club and wouldn’t stand in his way if he wanted to leave.

I don’t often have ITK knowledge. But on this topic I do.

Unfortunately agree with this. Lee defo has his short comings but at least he chips in with a few goals and assists.

Fair enough. I heard he was being picked on and destroyed in post match analysis sessions for not tracking his men, apparently relationship between player and Levein was frayed by the end of the season (shock)

When we signed him I did a good bit reading up online.

Luton had experimented and his best position was seen as right mid in a midfield diamond formation 4. But. Many admitted he needed a solid RB behind him as tracking back and defensive duties weren't his strong suit.

Now if I'm getting that and I don't do this for a living. How have Hearts signed him, moved him into the middle, then lost faith cos it seems like, he's not that good at tracking back?

Add to this signing Vanecek then moaning he wants it to feet and we need a bruiser to fight in the air.

Do we just keep asking for a triangle then the scouts come back with squares, and we sign them anyway, and try to change them?

You can keep going. Look at Clare. What did we ask for? Cos we've played him left, right, and now mid. Is he our creative force in the hole, wide, box to box, or muscle? He seems devoid of a natural position. Like Wighton. Now Uche too, punted out right.

We just flood the numbers and hope.

Are you saying Wighton is the just down the corridor left back?

It's like we're prioritising the wrong skills or positions for signings, forgetting the reality of how our players play, or are instructed to. A jigsaw with missing pieces.

Is there nobody at the club telling our players to stop going on about how much they like Celtic?

Lee for our next manager then, just so long as he doesn't play himself. He may know tactics better than Levein, but i'll lose no sleep over him no longer playing at tynie.

That'll go down well with the JKB CSC.
