Following on from Picard’s good news Sally I started reminiscing about the utterly dreadful cars that I had after my test. Warnock / Eek

Mine was a White & Black D reg Vauxhall Astra Le Mans which was an absolute death trap, it looked something like this.

Although the bottom panels on mine were black. Laugh

I think I paid about 3 times it’s worth on insurance, Fat Cunt but I ran it into the ground and it served me well until an old boy in a Volvo sent me spinning off the Whirlies Roundabout in East Kilbride one winter.

His insurance said it wasn’t an economical repair and scrapped it and paid me out, so I could go and buy another heap of junk. jjay

Over to you #THF, what was your first car?

Fellow 1.0l with 4 gears.

Handling was surprisingly good but no guts. Had my tools in the boot and 3 passengers and took 3 attempts to get up a hill one time Warnock

Second car was one of these, purchased with the insurance money from the Astra.

Sadly not the XR3i version, but a nasty lookalike with the most appalling handling ever known to man. Laugh

The back end used to slide out every time I took a corner faster than 15mph.

Absolutely loved that car, but sadly the engine seized after a massive oil leak and I had to scrap it. Sob

Spoiler, alloys, body kit Pinilla

The glory days when a peak evening was smoking doobies in a forestry car park and handys in the front seat from the Dame you were seeing. Simpler times.
