It would be much better in a half hour format, they don't have enough to fill an hour show.
Cut the stuff with the guy as a mascot and the stuff where they play wee games as that is terrible. Keep the informative chat about non OF teams and the player interview.
As said elsewhere, it's at least 15 minutes too long. Some of the chat is decent, and obviously the variety of clubs discussed works in its favour. Can't say I enjoy the hosts patter - how many cutaways do they have to one of them chuckling away when nothing funny has been said?
It's improved in the last couple of weeks - considering there was a segment early on where they padded it out with a guy eating a burger in silence for a minute, the improvement is welcome.
It could be better and shorter, but it's nice to see a Scottish football show, especially one not Old Firm-centric.
Thought it as pretty good this week. The coverage of the Arbroath game was great. You won't get that anywhere else on Scottish football. There is definitely a market for this kind of thing if they tighten it up.
Last nights was one of the best ones so far. I think if it continues this way, it'll be all good. Much better than watching something that solely talks about the Old Firm all the time.
Actually starting to warm to the presenters too, which I didn't really expect.
As Alan states, the Arbroath segment was top notch. They must have had to use a few cameras mind. I also enjoyed the 'No Ball Games' ode/lament. Not so keen on the chat - suggestion box: keep to a minimum! Need to interview someone each week about their career with wee coaching insights, etc. Otherwise it's got potential. That's my take based on latest episode.
