As savvy men-about-town at the cutting edge of societal trends, where do the THF prefer to do the food shop these days?

Asda loyal for me, but I’ve rarely been let down by Aldi’s in-house brands either. Their raspberry and honey porridge bars are excellent. GodIsGod

Please note that I will neggy anyone who calls Tesco “Tescos”, Asda “Asdas” etc.

I'm all about Sainsbury's tbh, I tried out Morrisons recently and thought it was awrite but I've dipped in to the home delivery market and the Morrisons driver was a cunt, actually borderline shouted at me for taking ages to answer the door. The Sainsbury's boy was spot on and actually had a bit of banter about him too so I'll be sticking to them whether it be getting it delivered or doing it manually.

The thinking man does his big shops at Lidl and gets the good shit at M&S. Skipping the mid-market dross.

I went to that Tesco in corstorphine a few weeks ago and thought it was shite tbh, absolutely heaving with cretins too which is the main reason I hate supermarkets, especially the big ones like Asda and Tesco etc.

Jim Kens

An Aldi opened at the end of my street a few months back, absolute gamechanger.

M&S is still the daddy for your top end stuff and sandwiches etc though.

M&S is king, as others have said.

Enjoy Lidl though for certain things as well.

Apart from that Waitrose > Sainsbury’s > Tesco > Asda > Morrison’s

If Aldi had a bakery like Lidl it would be the daddy tbh.

Asda gets a strong shout for the pizza

Deffo, I'd heard good things about Asda pizzas until I had one, thought it was shit.

Sainsbury's is good imo. I like they Charlie Bingham efforts they've got, the lasagne and macaroni a firm favourite of mine. To be fair though I live on pasta, pizza and chicken. It's only if the bird makes something different then I'll have that, like a steak now and then anaw.

Asda pizzas are terrific - what’s wrong with you people. Colin

I would like Lidl more if they ever had enough checkouts open. Aldi seem to operate the same model much better. Woy Not Sure From what I’ve heard from people who work there, Lidl’s bakery is unhygienic as fuck. Eek

Sainsburys is handy for me so I go there, occasionally get an online shop from Tesco but their chicken is below the standards of the Sainsburys so it'll get my vote.

Absolutely choking on a more local Lidl or Aldi though, those potential savings Pinilla

Asda is fucking shite and where you’re most likely to get folk shopping in their dressing gowns and stealing shopping trolleys to leave in the streets near their hovels.

Lidl/Aldi are pretty decent for what they are. M&S is by far the best in terms of quality but is very expensive. Sainsburys is OK but their meal deals are dreadful. I usually go to Tesco for most stuff and I don’t have any issues with it tbh.

Co Op make excellent pizzas (for an oven pizza), those Asda efforts are grim.

Tesco boy born and bred. Have to say I hate Asda, it probably stems from the one in Falkirk always looking absolutely clarty.

I think the cunts recommending Asda pizzas are old boys living on nostalgia from when they were 15 and their ma would take them to the special counter for an Asda pizza.

The world has moved on from fish finger sandwiches, potato waffles and Asda pizzas on a Friday.

Actually going to neggy the folk drooling over their sub-par pizzas, got me wound up now.

Do my shop at tesco, unless I want a pizza and then it's Asda. Just don't like Asda in general though. Any other shop is fifteen minutes away, but we're getting an aldi soon.
