What threads/posts stand out to you from the past that other people never mention? I should add that what I'm really looking for here are phenomenally bad takes/posts/opinions that sum up the internet fora experience rather than actual good threads. Two stand out for me:

- Can't remember what forum it was on, but I once saw a thread entitled 'does anyone like music?' The content was then just the same question again. Iconic.

- On KB (obviously), a guy once started a thread asking if other posters thought they were fashionable or stylish. Surprisingly, no-one said that they were fashionable but not stylish and it ended up with middle-aged men in maroon Gazelles concluding that it is in fact the children who are wrong.

Anyone able to add to this?

Shit gets out of hand coz two guys wont back down. One has a gun one has a garbage picker. Monty Umm Just swallow your pride and don't get shot, man.

Did cop need to bother him even if he was sitting on his patio looking menacing above a No Trespassing sign? From the video, I doubt it but then I wasn't there. Point is just keep cool and comply, even if you're in the right. It's just generally not worth the hassle.

What message is that video going to send to a cross-section of viewers? To most it will just reinforce what a significant number of us already believe, that policing can be a difficult job, that police (like us all) have implicit biases, but it may also embolden those naive enough to believe that your rights on the street allow you to be steadfast in the face of authority without consequence.

Radicalised! Warnock I'm just a shite foil for the propaganda that gets posted on here. Monty Oh You

That music one reminds me of sitting with my uncle and one of his workmates when I was wee.

Boy turns to my uncle and goes, 'Do you like videos, Jimmy?'

My uncle replied that he did and the boy nodded and went back to drinking his cup of tea Monty Chuckle

Strangest one on here was the boy saying him and his pal used to dry hump each other as bairns and then he just never mentioned it or acknowledged it again.

Does anybody mind a guy on KB admitting to booting a Fox to death for no reason?

The thread about those cheerleaders coming to Tynecastle and some bursds saying that there were many reasons why ‘real’ women didn’t look like cheerleaders and gave having to wash her husband’s skiddy-stained pants as one of them. Comical Ally

Laugh That wasn't me that was my missus' uncle that did that, Uncle Smokey. A .338mag, a narwhal rifle, at the dump. All sorts of shit goes down there. I somehow managed to miss a bathtub from about 20 yards, with an open sight Lee Enfield .303 - I'd have been useless at northern life euthanasia.

Just found the booting the Fox death post.

A post a few pages later from a Mr Arctic Jambo

“Sometimes when we come across a fox on the ice we'll work together to run it over with our snowmobiles ... they're slippery wee things ... not easy even with 600s. Best way to avoid proper damage to the pelt.”
