Aye I think so it’s like a 5 minute walk from the tram station.

Such a good spot for a venue but you couldn’t put the big arena up every time there was a gig on, would need something permanent.

Aye it was surprisingly really dece considering what I was expecting with it being all seated.

Folk were up and down all gig and getting told to sit back down but tbh there was one solitary guy trying to manage it and by the end the chairs all got chucked to the side and everyone was down at the front Laugh I think it was a fair trade off like, seated for most of it but folk got to properly let loose at the end for the last couple songs.

Felt so normal as well, that’s the first time I’ve been in a huge crowd since the pandemic started for something like that but it didn’t feel awkward at all or that.

Walked from Slateford to Waverley last night and it is a bit sad seeing Edinburgh empty in August. I think they need to try and make it a bit less busy when it comes back back it's a good buzz in the city during the Fringe.

There was something on at Lothian Road outside the Sheraton but I don't know what it was. Sounded quite busy.

I’d say be careful what you wish for like Laugh

Agree it feels a bit pish this year but the last year before the pandemic was almost just as pish because of how packed everywhere was.  I love it like but it almost gets hard to enjoy it when it gets to those levels.  Need to try find a balance somewhere but these big companies like underbelly are the main drivers of it these days and they’re just concerned about getting as many punters into their bars and nothing else.

It’s becoming more of an outside drinking festival rather than an arts festival in ways tbh Laugh

The place does feel empty which is a shame. Folk moan about it but I love having it on our doorstep for a month.

Get the festival cup back up running VanGaals Bitch

I did moan about how busy it was, especially when I had to travel into Edinburgh every day for work but it's not the same at this time of year without it.
