The players are playing shite but it’s why they’re playing like that that’s the issue.

Let’s just get the obvious problem dealt with then we can start weeding out the players who aren’t good enough.

Aye exactly, Berra is finished like and a new manager will see that and I think he can still play a part and finish with his dignity intact, we'll see what he can get out of the rest of them.

I'm typing that out knowing that we won't actually get a new manager, even if Levein is 'sacked' he won't actually be sacked, just in an ideal world where we operate like a normal football club.

There is and has been a complete lack of responsibility and leadership on the pitch just as there has been off it. Where Berra is concerned he is so over the hill in terms of his own performance that he simply doesn't have it in him to lead as well. He's too busy trying to avoid further catastrophic personal mistakes and take the easy option (example as AP posted) so as to avoid embarrassment. He can barely turn and his lack of mobility is exposed more and more by the week. When you've captained a Hearts side to a 5-0 defeat at Livingston and played by far the most minutes of any player during this historically bad run in the league there is nowhere to hide however. I'll credit he'll struggle big time on Sunday.

You really wonder what the likes of Whelan, Washington, Meshino and Pereira must be making of all this. Come into a club that appears on the face of it to have so much going for them until you meet Bill, Ben and the Flower(Tin)Pot Men coaching staff and the hopeless head coach. Grim.

They played into Berra’s strengths perfectly, only thing he had to deal with was beating cunts in the air. Was never put under pressure on the ball so wasn’t making the same sort of mistakes he has been recently.

Morelos is a little prick like, I think he should’ve probably seen red over the course of the match, he had about 4 stone wall yellows Laugh

Hickey was a bit off the day but the entire defence done well. Smits world class jjay

The guy has been an absolute warrior for us but this needs to be his last season I think.

If soapy can get back to full fitness and hasn’t been pegged back, a pairing of him and Halkett going forward is strong. I think we have a good chance of keeping Souttar for a long time because of the injury issues.

Seems less and less sure of himself as the mistakes pile up Monty Ooh

Doesn't have the technique or footballing brain to cope with his rapidly declining physical abilities.

So frustrating to see as he was pretty good against the best striker in the league when we drew against Rangers a few weeks back, but yesterday was sadly a return to the form he’s shown most of the season.

Can’t get Halkett and Souttar back quickly enough. It’s probably worthwhile bringing Hamilton back from his loan towards the end of the season and trying to get him a bit game time and experience. Best for everyone if Berra decides to retire come the end of the season.

There was a moment where the ball got away from him and was rolling out of play, he tried to sprint for it and then realised he can't run and pulled up holding his hammy Crowe

I wouldn't be shocked if he retired at the end of the season.
