With the budget we have there should be ensuring we have enough depth to handle beating the likes of Hamilton, County and St Mirren. Instead it's spunked on 1 goal a year forwards, and sheepish characters like Clare and Wighton
Other than the injury he had immediately prior to joining us Naismith had never had a serious injury I don't think. Looks like his knee is pretty well fucked now though.

He blew both his knees while playing for the huns.

He can see no wrong with what's happening just now.
He's not alone over there though. That plum Tosh, who wanted Hibs to beat Rangers in SCF, is slavering on about any potential replacement not being the answer! That's not reason enough to retain someone who has failed continually for a full year now

Mothy is keeping a very low profile just now
This excellent post by Half Time Guest on another thread should just be reposted on any thread questioning whether a change of management is worth the "risk", as if it wouldn't get better
"Killie can go out and get Steve Clarke who made Killie the best they've been in decades. Then they follow it up by getting a boy that was Conte's number two at Chelsea and Juventus and has carried on the good work Clarke did before him.
Motherwell have got Stephen Robinson in and he's got them riding high in the league with one of the smallest budgets in the league. He's taken them to two cup finals as well.
Livingston got promoted with David Hopkin in charge. Now they have Gary Holt and cementing themselves as a top flight side.
All of these teams have budgets and support a fraction the size of Hearts. And yet they're all capable of recruiting suitable managers and attracting decent names when the time comes. And they're all schooling us on a regular basis. Even Livingston knew how to react when they made a bad appointment (Kenny Miller). It wasn't working and they emptied him. What do we do when its not working? Plough on and hope it magically becomes better and keep believing we are about to turn a corner.
It just proves that whole "BUT WHO ELSE IS THERE?!" is utter fucking nonsense. A club our size, with the fan base we have, the stadium, the budget, the facilities, the lack of debt... we should be more than capable of attracting a very decent calibre of applicant."

We most certainly should. But we won't if he hangs around in any capacity
Cut all ties and clear out the whole backroom staff and get best candidate possible unimpeded

Aye, there's that few of them. Noah Claypole is another one,
I think he just doesn't have a clue mind you.
