Because Bozanic was hooked at half time against Motherwell, when damour was carrying an injury first half. He was hooked first at saints midway through the second half, damour wasn’t carrying a knock.

Nah it was the St Mirren game. What I’ve been told anyway.

Damour wasn’t obviously carrying a knock but was receiving treatment through the entire half time break.

Think once relegation is confirmed that would be a good time for both parties to part ways.

There's not going to be any money to buy players who can play his system and he can't get his message across to the diddies who are already here.

I think it's going to be a time to get someone in who knows the club. A Robbo type. Go back to basics and rebuild.

None of this matters if Budge hangs about though.

Reluctantly agree with this.

Stendel comes in with more time and I think it’s a completely different outcome though, even just the 6-8 weeks we fucked about getting him in could’ve been the difference.

Just a shame it hasn’t worked out as I think he was a manager everyone could get behind who made you want to go watch hearts. I was buying tickets again as even if we weren’t getting the results we were just more exciting to watch again and felt as if the change was coming.

You don’t need a guy like that to win the championship though, you need someone who kens how to beat the cloggers who pitch up at they clubs and Robbo would be perfect for that. Just a shame this will likely kick off another period where we look to ex players to come back rather than trying to make ambitious appointments.

It’s a shame he’s going to get all the blame for this. I still believe he would have been a good coach in a better situation. Still though, easy to blame the outsider who is seen as the hipster’s choice.

How is Stendel going to get the blame for all this? Warnock

He’s just some weirdo that took the team for a few games and still with a marginally better record than the previous incumbent. Even a blind man can see that Levein and Budge shoulder the majority of the blame.

P.S. Stendel hardly produced flattering on the eye football whatsoever. Way too direct and way too happy to give up possession. It was like watching Old school Scottish football where you miss the whole midfield out and if you lose it you all chase after it like mindless thickos, being dragged out of position by a more astute rival managers game plan.

Tommy Wright had stendel in his back pocket. Was embarrassing.

I’d have him stay if the rest of the jokers actually go. As it’s way more likely that levein, MacPhee and budge will hang about it then it’s best for him to go. The position is a poison until the decks are cleared.

Because some people are desperate to blame him. Particularly those that have a suspicion about people outside of the guid honest Hertz men’s club (those outside the THF tbh)

I’m 100% clear and agree with you - Levein and Budge shoulder the vast majority of the blame. Don’t think Stendel could have done much more though - at least we scored in some games in the latter half of the season so we had a fighting chance if the keeper/defenders weren’t a waste of a jersey.

He can’t stay. It’s a black mark against his career is being manager of us while being relegated and while he isn’t the main reason we’re going down, he has to carry some of the blame and shouldn’t continue in the job.

It’s depressing that next in the gig will be someone like Neil McCann or Stuart McCall or another underwhelming candidate of that ilk.

Stendel was a patter merchant. Senior players openly ripping the pish out of him. Aye the players are cunts but show some authority, was cathro all over again.

Good luck to Robbo trying to make sense of whatever he has left of that squad btw Crowe

Think advijaj, langer and sibbick were all only here until the end of the season anyway so there’s 2 duds off the books.

Got to assume boyce will have a relegation clause as well which will see him go.

Neil McCann is a mentalist who’s teams don’t score, but his style of football is ten times better than anything Stendel has produced
