There must be 3 Mcdonalds for every Burger King in Scotland.
It annoys me because Burger King is superior imo.
The burgers actually taste flame grilled and the chips are well better.

BK but I'd opt for McDonald's when steaming.

Proper rarity for me to have either. Think the last Burger King I had was coming back up the M6 after being away in July, and McDonald’s I’m pretty sure I’ve not been in since I was hungover waiting for the train back from Liverpool in May. Count on the fingers of one hand how often I have them in a year.

Would generally prefer BK but definitely something a bit more comfort food-ish about a McDonald’s.

100% Burger King. Excellent choice of burgers and size, with seeded buns. Nice crispy fries and free juice refills.

McDonalds burgers are awful. Floppy soft fries. File beside KFC.

Both a total rarity for me but top choice is a. Quarter pounder from Macdo for me.

Though a BK is good on occasion when you’re rough and want to make it worse. What’s with everything being XXL. Ridic burgers man. Warnock

Don't get me wrong, both would do your nut in if you had them regularly, but as a treat, It's Burger King all the way.
I've usually ended up getting a Mcdonalds because Burger King is usually another good few miles away.
The last few Mcdonalds i've had have been dried out barely warm nonsense and made me feel like i'm coming down with the flu.

Only had one in the last few months, and that was because there wasn't much else at the airport.

McDonalds for me, though.

Was McDonald's back in the day then I converted to BK's whopper in the late 90s, when it far out did anything it's rival produced including the short-lived Big n Tasty.  Only recently returned to McD's, well it's been about 6 or so yrs now when they brought in the Angus burgers and Signature collection since - they really upped their game and are rightly #1 in teh fast food burger stakes.

Saying that don't think I've had a BK Whopper since I converted back to McDonald's so might actually be missing out.  Tend to just drop a couple of quid on the cheap McD's cheeseburgers on the way home from a sesh, if handy.  Kids are more into the wraps of the day, which is good value at 2notes.

One thing that has remained the same however, imo, is that the McD fries have always been top dog, the benchmark.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but McDonald’s are ditching the whole signature collection as it’s not that good a seller.

Love a big Mac and love a whopper too. Couldn’t really pick between the two but Maccies probably edges it on price

XL bacon double cheeseburger all day long for me. Closest Burger King is in Queensferry though  Monty Oh Well

Agree with Pondy that McDonald’s chips are better, not a fan of BK’s crispy fries

Both chips are shit. Prefer a burger king burger, but a mcdonalds shake would probably swing it for me.

In Portugal McDonalds do a Quinoa burger that’s pretty decent, over here both BK and McD’s veg options are brutal

I'm surprised at that tbh, assumed they were in line with the North American (well Canadian anyway) fancy Angus burgers, which as I mentioned are good value and rarely let-downs.

If I'm being honest (yes, looking at you Scott, you wee sneering doubting thomas Monty Ha ) I haven't had one of the MCD's premium burgers since I left Canada near on 16 months ago. I don't doubt all those 'They rarely get them but when they do ...' posters.

Sausage mcmuffins. Piggy

The hot blueberry pies (cherry a close 2nd) were the biz, tho I don't think I've had one since the 70s! Monty Umm
