Not a sexy name but I'm starting to think this is what we need. We're in a mess which will take ages to fix so a safe pair of hands might be all we can expect right now.

I'm assuming Stendel isn't happening here

Thoughts on McCall?.

Can we please just go and get Neil Warnock.

Sob

Just give him it now at the very least until the end of the season and let him tear into our band of hopeless cowards.

He's been on a downward spiral after a decent period with Motherwell.

If you can't get Rangers out of the Championship you are hopeless. Would be absolutely gutted if we end up with this cunt.

He’s a Rangers simpleton with a stupid mullet.

Guaranteed it’ll be some diddy like him.

I’d rather Ian McCall than this clown. Regardless of how bad we are, I don’t want him anywhere near it.

Pass.

Couldn't get Rangers out of the Championship, sacked by Bradford and Scunthorpe since then. A new manager is needed post haste, but McCall would be our equivalent of Hibs appointing Terry Butcher in 2013.

We appointed Levein and Cathro while Daly and MacPhee have had caretaker spells Warnock talk about duds.

Why 3 years? Laugh end of the season job, the focus has to be avoiding relegation any other pie in the sky plans have to be put on hold until the summer at least.

There's a fair old task facing whoever get's this job.

It remains to be seen what is happening with Stendel so looking at who we've interviewed there's only duds left.

Stuart McCall in to save us from relegation would go down far worse than leaving Austin on until the end of the season with the support Laugh

None of this fucking about with interim managers or half year contracts, get a guy in who’s going to get time to implement his own way around the club because that’s exactly what we need. We need to start working towards properly changing the attitude at the club that’s been left and a manager like McCall in until May is not going to give anybody a lift.

In hindsight we should’ve just chucked the money up for Robinson. He was a good realistic target and that is what should’ve happened. I still have a bit of faith that Stendel comes off but every game that goes by without a dece manager in place puts us massively at risk of being in that relegation battle come the end of the season.

It needs to be the right manager because a wee lift and a few wins against the lower end diddys and we’re avoiding any serious trouble.

The longer Stendel pisses us about the more we should be talking to Warnock. I'm starting to think he'd be what we need: he'd make us hard to beat and better than the sum of our parts; folk who weren't up for it would be getting told to bolt. Just an old head who's seen it all before and knows how to win football matches whatever it takes.

Appointing McCall will send us down and keep us down.

We're in a relegation battle just now Rofl
