TBF to Walker in the first half we were sitting crazy deep. Even when players like Walker, White, Irving got the ball there was no real runners or options for them.
That said he is clearly not good enough for next season when we are back in the top flight.
No way we will be able to move him on the summer though, unless we pay his contract out in full. Nobody else is gonna offer the guy £3-4K a week are they.

That's the issue in a nutshell. Not good enough for top league. No club earns enough in our current league to take him off our hands at his level. Best we can hope for is about 5/6 more goals this season, and a Livingston or Kilmarnock willing to take him for nothing in the summer, saving us some wages.

I find myself wondering if he's actually that good a player or just seems much better than he really is because we're comparing him to Walker, Frear, and Roberts.
Plenty good Hearts players have missed big chances in massive games. Did Colqhoun not miss a sitter that would've taken us past Bayern? Personally, I don't see anyone else scoring the goal that Gino did, gambling at the back stick and cleaning someone out in the process.
JW though? To turn in that kind of performance in a cup final? No danger any other Hearts supporter would've looked that disinterested playing in the game of their life.
